International projects and cooperation

We have further enhanced strong collaborative links with institutions and companies in Europe and overseas. The most important collaborative partner is Institute of Electrical Engineering, Slovak Academy of Sciences. Close cooperation with the Institute is of largest importance for the progress in translation the new knowledge into commercially viable products and capabilities reported here.

Arepoc has embarked upon a growth strategy based on its activities to achieve international cooperation with partners through RTD specific programs. From this ambition, in 1995-1998 arise participation in the Joint research project "Manufacturing techniques for electromagnet giving 0.5 Tesla at 77 K made from based high Tc superconductor". The following were key institutions of the project:

  • National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Italy
  • Institute of Electrical Engineering SAS, Slovakia
  • High Pressure Research Center PAS, Poland
  • Arepoc, Slovakia

In 2000-2003 Arepoc participated as industrial partner in the specific research network entitled "Metal oxide multilayers obtained by cost-effective new CVD technologies for magnetoelectronic micro-systems and nanotechnologies" founded by European Community. This thematic network "MULTIMETOX" involves 14 principal contractors forming the "hard core" of this project. During the period under contract five new members were involved.
